May 1st is traditional beginning of the summer season. It is one of the 4 seasons the others being Lughnasadh - Aug 1, Samhain - Nov 1st & Imbolc on 1st Feb
Whereas Samhain had an association with the dead, Bealtaine was a celebration of life &renewal.

Beltane Eve Prep:

- Outdoor altar prepared, including a sponge to catch the morning’s dew (or the rain lol) and the Resurrection Plant quickened at Imbolc.

-Indoor altar purged of Ostara, with Spell Egg and offering buried; Bonfire set

-Dessert in the works🤩
