Last night the NYPD didn’t mess around. They tore through a tent encampment, arrested resisting protesters as well as at least a dozen faculty members at Gould Plaza.

JUST IN: Faculty members of NYU walk onto the encampment and begin forming a human chain. Palestine protesters erupted in cheers! Chanting “keep us safe! Keep us safe”. It now dawns the hour of this “unspecified response” by NYU admin but staff appears to oppose it.
