adding blush to this daguerreotype just makes him appear coquettish especially since it looks like he's winking.

真の鏡面ステンレスへの純銀スパッタリングも成功。
中央に薄曇りが出るのはスパッタ頻度の不均一由来だが、この程度は問題にならない（出来れば消したい）。
このくらいになると撮影前の最終研磨はあっと言う間に終わる。

Newの銅板を昼過ぎに磨きだして純銀スパッタして飯食ったり何だりで23時くらいには撮り上がっていた。
感材の自作やってからにしてはマァマァでしょ。

このモチーフも何枚撮っているやら。
強い光が当たっていると今日取った左下の方が良く見える。
しかし実物はド・オーバーの右上の方が魅力的なのだ。
古典写真技法全般に言えることだが、現物を見ないと魅力の半分も分からないだろうなぁ。
左下は消しちまおう。

Picked up this daguerreotype today in a bundle of photos for $5. The young gentlemen look oddly familiar. Certainly looks like it could be civil war or older but I’m not sure. Any know anybody that looks at these sort of things?
