It’s a great time of the year to marvel in the delights of the dawn chorus. It starts early in the morning as the sun rises, and you can hear the melodies sung by numerous birds. Alternatively, listen in the evenings as the sun sets. It’s a lovely way to start or finish your day.

🐝Bee update! 🐝

We recently recorded three new bee species for Ryton Pools Country Park, bringing our total to ninety-seven species! All three were species of Nomad bees, which are a group of parasitic bees that lay their eggs in the nests of other solitary bees.

CityNatureChallenge made a bit easier Warwickshire Country Parks Ryton Pools. The site is very well monitored and managed and we had a good idea where to look for Grass Snakes. Water Shrew found under a tin too. :-).
