I've only seen one other cycle traveller in Morocco- but I have now bumped into him twice! This is Joel from France. We first met on the road out of Chefchaouen, and this morning I'm wandering about in the Fes medina, and he comes round the corner. Small world!

It's been a nice day, pottering around in Chefchaouen. Rested, fed and watered, and ready to crack on. First 20km tomorrow is downhill, so that's a bonus!

Made it to Chefchaouen. It's an old fortress town, so of course it's at the top of a massive hill. I was seriously questioning my life choices that last hour on the bike! Still, rest day tomorrow, and the hotel has a roof terrace with this incredible view.
