LOCATION 12 – CELTIC PARK

Now Celtic had won the title, one contest remained: Glasgow’s Charity Cup.

Held on 27 May 1893, this was the first final at the new Celtic Park.

Celtic beat Rangers 5-0. They got the trophy in June.

1892-93 was a big moment in Celtic history.

It saw Celtic first claim the league title, putting them on course for #53 this season.

Bizarrely, in 1893-94 they did it again with the exact same number of wins, draws and losses!

A presentation ceremony took place for the Glasgow Charity Cup.

At Glasgow City Chambers, the trophy was handed over to Celtic representatives, following their victory over Rangers.
