Fantastic news this afternoon with the formal signing of the contracts to see Clare County Council take over the running of the iconic Shannon Heritage sites in our county - namely Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Craggaunowen and Knappogue Castle.

Bunratty To Celebrate Ancient Pagan Festival Of Imbolc
The County Clare visitor attraction will showcase the vibrant crafts, traditions, animals and customs that characterise the season, while the ‘Imbolc Celebration’ will also mark St. Brigid’s Day.
