We need to recognise that apprenticeships are as important as further education. A-Levels are not the correct nor appropriate route for every student. No child should feel compelled to continue their studies after 16.

I’ve lost interest in everything.. even my job & apprenticeship that I’ve been wanting to do my whole life. I don’t see any future anymore.

A huge shout out to my tutor Caroline and my former tutor Alison from National College of Education for their support. I have successfully gone through Gateway for the Level 7 apprenticeship. Cheers to Ruth Astley for showing me ‘what a good one looks like’ #teacher5aday
