The virus can persist and replicate long term in tissue reservoirs, not just at autopsy. This includes in the brain, GI tract and the lung, possibly for months even years. We need to develop new antivirals. NIH Director Bertagnolli MD ๐Ÿ‘‡

My friend was recently admitted to hospital. I told her to make sure she got a Covid test asap as sheโ€™s eligible for antivirals.

The dr refused to test her, despite her having classic symptoms.

I created this tick list of her symptoms to show to the dr.

Eventually he agreedโ€ฆ

Woody Harrelson criticizes the government and the pharmaceutical industry for blocking affordable, off-patent antivirals like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to profit from COVID-19 vaccines:

'Ivermectin got made into a horse tranquilizer. Hydroxychloroquine got madeโ€ฆ

If there's anything that my recent experience with acute and has shown me, it's the need for antivirals targeting that can be taken long-term. Short courses of Paxlovid and Remdesivir aren't enough. We need new and repurposed !

Tested positive for covid yesterday for the first time. Got the antivirals yesterday. Very efficient service by the doctor and pharmacy. I was very impressed. I actually feel fine but will play on this to have a really lazy few days. Oh no, I can't possibly do that, I have covid

Wouldnโ€™t it be great if we had antivirals for COVID that are better than Paxlovid, which is contraindicated with a million meds that people both with and without Long COVID have to take on a daily basis?

The door has been opened by this interview and the work of many, such as PolyBio, LCAP and others. Letโ€™s keep this door open! Get loud, repost this subject. Viral persistence is a huge deal. Kids are getting repeated infections.

I appreciate Bernie Sanders proposal for funding $10B over 10Y, but it's not enough. Gov. gives the same amount for weapons w/ ease, but effectively maims, disables + murders it's citizens allowing to spread. Fund research + antivirals now! Hypocritical indeed.

Health Update: Seems the heart and blood pressure issues could be covid related according to my doctor. Everything is tele-visit, so no real tests outside of my wife checking my blood pressure. Round of antivirals, and loads of Vitamins with rest.

How do we make people understand that not all 'serious' diseases are treated with antibiotics?
Different disease conditions have different causes.
*Bacterial caused------use antibiotics.
*Viral caused -----use antivirals
*Fungal caused------use antifungals
*Etc.
