This video was shared from the Ventura County radish harvest. Radishes take 3-4 weeks to grow from seed to harvest - even longer in cooler temperatures. Hand harvesting radishes is very labor intensive work.

Clemente uses a Caterpillar to disk the lettuce field in preparation for the new plantings in Salinas CA. He does this work year round which means he works in the heat, in cold temps and often in the rain. This is how he supports his family.

Joaquin was removing overgrown brush from this blueberry field in OR. It has grown taller that the bushes & must be removed by hand. He spent most of the day bent over pulling the brush out from underneath. He had to make sure to protect his eyes from the branches.
