We measured the aerostability of multiple #SARSCoV2 variants. As the virus has evolved, it has become less aerostable (left).

Their aerostability correlated with their pH sensitivity (right). This suggests that the aerosol pH maybe driving the loss of viral infectivity.

In our study we use next generation aero-virology technology (CELEBS) to systematically probe the aero-stability of SARSCoV2 as a function of environmental conditions and particle type. We systematically identified the parameters that do, and do not, affect virus aerostability
