Nice Wilson’s Storm Petrel feeding next to a dead Pilot Whale that was being devoured by Blue Sharks! 40 odd miles Southwest of the Scillies.

This was my view from the crow’s nest on the . These pilot whales were tail slapping and spy hopping throughout the entire visual survey! This is the second day in a row we’ve witnessed these animals in such huge pod sizes. Absolutely amazing to watch😍

That’s all folks, the survey is done and dusted! Here are some of the bits and bobs we saw on our 3 week long voyage. Big fish list lacked a bit alright, but we made up for it with our marine mammals, birds, and of course the jellies 😉

Fantastic first couple of days on with a Great Skua stealing food off of a Gannet and a Fulmar. Great Skuas are known for kleptoparasitism but it was thrilling to see it up close and personal we also had juvenile Fin whales 😍
