The main problem with treatment of calciphylaxis is the diagnosis itself. It's a clinical diagnosis with a lot of differentials and usually biopsy is not done for fear that it may not heal. In my patient, i was confused between calciphylaxis and diabetic myonecrosis. #nephjc
