A3: I use different activities depending on the domain of focus. Examples: to promote speaking I will use storytelling, role play, and story completion. To promote writing I may have students write tweets or emails.

A1: Rubrics help my MLs be aware of their goals so they know what they are working towards achieving. Ideally, they will develop their own goals but they can also be teacher given. The 'Can dos' are helpful when creating goals.
