The amount of victims I see who are worried because their ex is saying about mediation.
They are afraid of being in a room with them
It's awful.
They aren't realising that if there's #DomesticAbuse in the background they are exempt from putting themselves through this

I don't believe they are proactive and many victims of #DomesticAbuse have been let down and that includes children as well.

I'd like to think that there is a greater awareness of the harms of ethnic lumping ('BAME', 'BME') but I still see new research projects on #DomesticAbuse that continues to lump people. This is why I support peer review boards with experienced Black voices. Let's be specific.
Iโm so tired of people dismissing abuse as yet another Jerry Springer divorce. Who does? Family court, some attorneys and some police officers. If youโre an abuse victim, get a team - a coach, attorney, etc. - that believes you. I do.
