It’s National Gardening Day! 🌿

Today is World Parkinson’s Day.

Parkinson’s disease is a brain disease affecting around 145,000 people in the UK and at first, it mainly causes problems with movement.

Around a third of people with Parkinson’s eventually develop dementia.

One in three people with dementia still drives. The most important thing is whether the person can still drive safely.

After a diagnosis, if the person continues to want to drive they must take certain steps and let DVLA/DVA decide.
