BioSoc enjoyed taking part in the UK Pollinator Monitoring Scheme counting pollinators on the school fields at lunch time. Here was can see a hoverfly enjoying some Californian Lilac. Mimicking a bee is a great way of avoiding predators. @AlleynsBiology @Alleyns_School
