It is absurd that school life is condensed into a single-word judgement. Accountability is important but 'the inspection & the surveillance culture' makes it a cliff edge for too many teacher & leaders #AbolishOfsted National Education Union petition hand in today bbc.co.uk/news/education…

So it's quite normal for teachers to cry in an #ofsted inspection. Do Ofsted think this is acceptable? Reducing professionals to tears? I'm sure the shortage of teachers has nothing to do with this.....
