As a long time buyer, I can tell you how important it is to buy what everyone likes.

I had a dream that I heard a year old voicemail message from a publisher. They were passing on my picture book, but loved my novel. Call ASAP

So does this mean I should:
-Stop writing picture books
-Write more novels
-Check my voicemail more
-Refer these dreams to my agent

I think the reason people are so surprised that publishing is such a difficult journey is because there’s a disproportionate number of characters in TV and movies who are successful writers.

And you know who creates those characters?
