ok, this is not ww1 but an awesome item i added to the collection. Thanks my friend Musi Militaria for the good deal. A helmet from two wars. M1 helmet manufactured and likely used during WW2, and eventually modified for use during the Vietnam War.

Leutnant Baensch of the German Field Artillery Regiment No.4 strikes an impressive pose in a trench near La Basseé, 1916. The pistol is some kind of pocket pistol but it's hard to tell the exact model. Small pistols like these were often privately purchased.

New in my collection M1917 Doughboy helmet, this one have a painting from (78th 'Lightning' Division). marking 'ZF 41' present and legible.

very beautifull 'Deutsches Armee Messer' a WW1 period pocket knife, made around 1914 or earlier, this one is complete, has all the tools, however some blades have wear and/or chips, and the 'corkscrew' tool broke at the base.
