This is my manager Kailey's project and she launched more than a few careers through this platform.

Sad to see it go, but if it is time, it is time. Thanks for introducing me to some great writers, BloodList.

There are a handful of folks I would ask for a read outside my own reps and Garrick is one of them

He's been around, he knows his stuff, and he's good people.

Be decisive in your screenwriting. Make choices. About story, plot, characters, and moments. Everything.

Be specific and confident.

Every strong choice makes each subsequent choice easier because it eliminates millions of other choices.

It's the non-choices that drag you down.

There will never, ever be a better way to get your screenwriting read than a well-connected associate vouching for you and recommending you.

This is the ultimate pre-scrutiny.

Even then, you're still going to want a great logline.

Paul Schrader was supposed to direct a screenplay of mine after THE CARD COUNTER.

When COVID shut that film down, Schrader said Schrader things about that decision and challenged the producer's masculinity.

He did that in his own words, of course.
