Our Lady of Lourdes feast day is today. This week 5th year students who applied to volunteer on the Archdiocese of Dublin pilgrimage to Lourdes in September were interviewed. Sr Pat selected the 5 students to represent us. We wish them all the best in their fundraising.

St Mary's off to a winning start in the first round of the Gael Linn Comórtas an Phiarsaigh Debating Competition 2023. Comhghairdeas to Nessa Haverty, Hannah Moroney and Khushi Ferguson, who debated in Loreto College Stephen's Green yesterday evening. Tús maith, leath na hoibre!

5th Yr Visual Art students experienced the 'Monument of Light' (An Túr Solais) on O'Connell St before heading to a workshop in DJing lead by DJ Kate Butler in Dublin Digital Radio ad a visit to the Hugh Lane Gallery, where they got a tour of parts of the Andy Warhol Exhibition.

St Mary's school students took part in BeLonG To's national annual campaign, 'Stand Up Awareness Week 2023'. This year our activities included origami heart making in the colours of the Progress Pride Flag, by our first years and senior cycle classes in Wellbeing and Religion.
