I recently shared an experience I had with a journal and was encouraged to share the decision letter more broadly. For the youngens who still get frustrated, this same paper was rejected by the QJE (a more appropriate 'home' given the style.) It's always a lottery!

My friend, colleague, and former Dean Rich Lyons is UC Berkeley's new chancellor - can't think of a better choice! The two great Bay Area universities will be led by economists and former b-school deans. Running a university is indeed running a very big business! Congrats Rich!!

Last Sept I was an expert for Zillow in a frivolous lawsuit (Z won). NAR was a co-defendant. I explained that if asked to defend NAR I will not. Unfortunately, the judge dismissed the case against NAR. Thankfully someone else got them! h/t Pallavi Guniganti
