🐝s listened to the story of ‘The Good Samaritan’. We then used our helpful hands to be a helping hand in & around our school. We have been brushing & picking up leaves, looking for litter & weeding. 🐛 Earth Day 🦋 We reflected on the impact global warming has on our planet. 🌍 We recreated Earth on slices of bread. We toasted the bread to represent the impact of global warming and the need to care for our planet. #VPEI #EarthDay2024

Today we went out into our outdoor area and found some natural treasures that belong to the earth - we collected some in our treasure box to look at closer. We also spoke about how we could look after our earth by recycling, saving water and planting #VPEI

🌎Earth Day 🌎 🐝s have been learning the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling our rubbish. We sorted our rubbish and found ways to reuse the plastic waste. We loved visiting the Royal National Lifeboat Institution!
We discovered so much about the lifeboats - how important they are in rescuing people & animals too!They are very expensive and very big! 🚤 we asked some important questions too! #VPAC

🦋 Year 2 had an amazing time with Mr. Morris on our first transition visit. 🎉 We went on a thrilling hunt around the school, guided by the incredibly helpful Year 3 children who showed us every nook and cranny! Diolch yn fawr Ysgol Esgob Morgan! ☺️ #VPHC

🐝s made a wormery.We made a list of what we needed, collected it & followed instructions carefully.We made layers of soil, sand & leaves & went on a worm hunt to find the worms. 🐛 🦋 Hold onto your helmets! 🚀🧑‍🚀Our trainee astronauts have bravely explored a crashed spaceship on school grounds, aced missions like fitness challenges & rocket design, & now proudly hold their space passports. 🌠 #VPAC Welsh Government Education

🐝s had a great time on Bumble Bee Farm to start our topic. We milked the cows, cleaned up the mess the animals made when they escaped, cleaned the animals who were having too much fun in the mud, took on characters in the small world & finally, relaxed with a good book #VPEC

We looked at a recipe, listened to the equipment and ingredients that we needed and followed the recipe to make Easter nests with a marshmallows in the middle 🪺🪹🐣 #VPHC

🐝s couldn’t believe there were foot prints with a letter! The letter said that the Easter Bunny had been & had hidden clues around the class which we had to work out to find chocolate eggs. We then had to find all of the pictures outside to get a prize.We had lots of fun #VPEI
