Ultimately, the problem plaguing television is that a lot of television doesn’t want to be television. It wants to be seen as something beyond.

In 1996, exec notes had gotten so out of hand, Variety’s Peter Bart called for a one year moratorium on the notes process to find out if they *actually* make movies better.

Since, arguably, notes have become MORE intrusive, this experiment would be, sadly, just as relevant now.

There need to be laws that force CEOs to take pay cuts before doing mass layoffs.

No boss should be going home with a multi-million dollar paycheck while their workers go home without a job.

That’s cool but what I really need is more seasons of Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, and She-Hulk.

If 22 episodes aren’t coming back, at least let’s get back to like 13. Or 16 if you can.
