This week John Oliver discussed Medicaid work requirement programs (like GA Pathways) and how poorly they perform.

Arkansas in fact suspended its work requirement after < 1 year and has since fully expanded Medicaid.

But here in GA, apparently ego and intransigence trump facts.

Worth a read: a recent essay by Bryan Garsten, 'The Liberalism of Refuge' in the new issue of the Journal of Democracy.
