People don’t want to work 40+ hours in compromise of their mental and physical health anymore. They want to be able to afford basic necessities, spend time with their loved ones, and still have enough time for themselves without digging themselves an early grave.

I had a client who came to me for a reading about her relationship. In the session, it revealed it wasn’t their time and place — that there needs to be some growth and inner work. She took this advice and they broke up for quite a long while — now, they’re engaged with a kid.

I believe some people come into your life as a lesson; to teach you something, whether to elevate or to end a cycle. Which is why some people aren’t our “forever” and why we should allow people to leave our lives — sometimes their purpose was to teach or just experience.

A lot of you be trying to use magic on a lot of shit you should’ve just cursed someone out or beat their ass for — you gathering herbs and candles when you should’ve just gathered them together in that moment.

Even as a messenger — your tone and delivery is still important, even the timing of when you deliver the message.

No amount of evil eye or monitoring spirit can put a stop to what God has planned for me.

A lot of adults have been in survival mode since childhood; they’ve had to be depend on themselves, witness a parent experience their own trauma, and develop tough skin from a very young age. So they don’t know how to be still in moments of calm because it’s foreign to them.

A lot of women carry the burden of their mother; her trauma, her wounds, and her pain. They have a mother wound that’s rooted from their own mother’s unhealed pain, that she took out on them instead. From childhood, they had to navigate how to parent her and themselves.

People who are hyper-independent have a difficult time with asking for help, even when they’re mentally and physically drained and desperately need it. They’re so used to either having help come with a price tag or they’ve been conditioned to handle things often on their own.

I love being able to see through someone’s fake persona and mask and being able to truly know how ill their intentions are — it saves me a lot of wasted interactions and protection.

Romanticize your life. Get dressed up even on days you’re in the house all day. Try to have a new experience every week. Rest as much as you need to.Take yourself out on dates to feel giddy about. Make your mental and physical health a priority. Live and experience life more.
