“What gets lost in conversations about book banning is that it’s really about eliminating the institution of the library, period. It’s not about the books. Well, it is… but the books are the way in to gut one of the last public institutions that serves everyone.”

Governor Brad Little is pro-book banning. That is his legacy now, and I want all future generations to see that when they Google his name. Brad Little supports book bans and disregards the voices of Idahoans, when he signs them into law.

What’s wild is how quickly y’all will jump on here to proclaim that you have no idea how reproductive care works. Those Cs in HS biology really made y’all feel too comfortable with expressing your opinions on healthcare.

HB 710 passed the Senate. It now goes back to the House. Time to start calling representatives to let them know to vote No on 710! legislature.idaho.gov/house/membersh…

Doctors, providers, and nurses are leaving Idaho and leaving the profession at an alarming rate. That is destabilizing healthcare, which will affect everyone. The legislature assured us they would address the root cause—the abortion bans. So far, they have done nothing.

Good news everyone—Heather says that food, healthcare, and housing are not essential rights that people need to survive. They’re just privileges. Which is the perfect deflection when you’re actively denying Idahoans access to those essential rights. We see you, Heather.

Demonstrators at the Idaho Capitol dropped 48,000 paper hearts on the Capitol floor in protest of anti-LGBTQ legislation.

Each heart representing an LGBTQ Idahoan.

I want to be very clear about HB 421 and HB 538. These bills will end up in court. They are unconstitutional and will cost us MILLIONS in litigation. Every Senator that voted yes knows this and is fine wasting your money. That is not being fiscally responsible.

“Part of me doesn’t like politicizing my story. I feel like I’m using my life for a political purpose. Unfortunately, our govt has made our wombs a political topic. So I will just fight fire with fire at this point & use their own ammunition against them.” tennesseelookout.com/2024/04/01/tur…

In February, I traveled to Clarksville, Tennessee, to meet Allie Phillips and spend a few hours canvassing her neighborhood, where she talked to people about one of the worst things that has ever happened to her.
