Very cold on the picket lines today. However not as cold as the pay freeze our members and other public sector workers have to endure. This needs to be sorted urgently otherwise winter is coming to our health service

Our Chartered Society of Physiotherapy members in H&SC in NI are on strike today for the first time ever. The lowest paid NHS workers in the UK, they have been left with no choice. They cannot continue to be hamstrung by this govt’s excuse that there is no functioning political executive 1/5

It has been an honour spending time with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy members out on strike today. With no increase AT ALL this year, they are all suffering. Striking is a last resort, but they have been pushed into it.
