Sarah Sanders wanted a lectern similar to the one at her inauguration, but 5” shorter.

Why couldn’t one of the incompetents in her office just say that to a local woodworker instead of paying Virginia Beckett $2500 to fail to relay that message to a NY craftsman?

Actually, Judd Deere, taxpayer money WAS used to purchase the lectern, in the form of a state credit card. The 'determination' that it was 'preferable' that private funds be used instead came after Matt Campbell started asking inconvenient questions.

The #lecterngate audit turned up a new itemized expense included in the $19,025 total: a $2,500 'consulting fee' for buying a thing to stand behind while speaking. What's the hourly rate on furniture consulting these days ans how can I get in on it?
