Great buzz at the North Clondalkin Running Club 10k and half marathon this morning!

Well done to the club for organising an excellent event and super to see the local community come out in force to support it, including community Gardaí from Ronanstown Garda station.

Today, I chaired the final meeting of the Joint Policing Committee of this council term. Thanks to my fellow elected members, the council staff and the officers of An Garda Síochána for their collaboration.

Thanks to the Lucan Lions Club for inviting me and other local representatives to join them for their annual awards night!

It was wonderful to see so many local groups and organisations honoured for their service to the community - manifesting the Lions' mission of 'We Serve'.

There are a number of 1-bed and 2-bed apartments in Lucan coming on to the CBL platform tomorrow- you must be on the Council list to apply.

A number of folks have contacted me about delays in grass cutting. I've raised this with the Public Realm section and there is a delay in getting grass cut because of the large volume of rainfall in weeks previous.

The team are clearing that backlog but feel free to msg me.

It's a small win but important to folks living on Woodfarm Avenue. Happy to see the double yellow lines extended at the junction of Manor Road/Woodfarm Avenue to prevent dangerous parking - something I raised on behalf of residents there.

The Garda Youth Awards celebrates outstanding young people aged between 13 and 21 years of age, recognising the good work that young people are doing within their communities.
The DMR West Division includes Lucan, Ronanstown, Clondalkin, Ballyfermot and Rathcoole Garda Stations.

Watching the The Dice Players bring amateur dramatics back to Palmerstown Parish Centre has been a highlight of the past few years!
