Microplastics Enjoyer It was actually originally for people who were sober but could drink at social outings without feeling like they would be judged for just drinking water. That’s why it’s made to look like an alcohol can.
Personally I love liquid death, it’s high up on the taste test for bottled…

Nail Shen Microplastics Enjoyer I literally love it for this reason. Now that I'm sober, I really like their iced teas too and enjoy supporting them because they had a part in my sobriety journey.

Microplastics Enjoyer When it came out I was like “oh this shits for that type of straight edge dude who gets extra loud and obnoxious to prove they can “out party” the drunk guys”

Microplastics Enjoyer Some dude told me that it’s for recovering alcoholics who miss the feeling of drinking from a can and then spent actual real life days arguing with me when I said that non-alcoholic beer and canned sparkling water exist

Microplastics Enjoyer Liquid Death helps sober folks feel some belonging and stand out less when they go to shows. it's cool to have a tall boy style drink with some cheesy death metal type branding!

Microplastics Enjoyer I had to buy a can of that one time bc I really wanted a sparkling water and it was all they had and I was so embarrassed I also bought a cup of ice and immediately poured it in so I wouldn’t be seen drinking it

Microplastics Enjoyer this is pretty much the opposite of what Buenos Aires did in the early 1900's, tore most of the city down to facilitate motor traffic but they preserved walkability

Microplastics Enjoyer I don’t like Liquid Death either but the idea of going out with your buddies on a Friday night and bringing your reusable water bottle with you to the bar is hilarious.

Microplastics Enjoyer I think you would have to start with certain sectors or neighborhoods and wean them off of cars, reducing street widths, expanding public transit. But I doubt this will happen in most major US cities which are basically run by real estate developers

Birthday Sophie Microplastics Enjoyer yeah i know a lot of recovering alcoholics use it when going out w their friends, so it feels like they’re also carrying a can of beer and don’t feel pressured or singled out
