#RomanSiteSaturday ! The Porta Borsari was the Roman gateway into ancient #Verona . It was built around 50 BC of bricks, the stone facade was added about 100 years later.
In Roman time the gate was known as Porta Iovia because it was next to a temple to Jupiter.
