Our warm up this week is connect the dots, but it doesn’t have the numbers to follow, so students invent their own path. This 1st grader found critters, a Poke ball and a rocket!

3rd grade is practicing their paper arts skills to decorate a frame for their balanced drawing. They are testing out new tools and techniques for using colored paper for different effects.

5th grade is finishing adding the character words and other descriptions to their self portraits.

This week the warm up for intermediate students is to draw the word cold looking cold. How would you show it?

1st grade is painting around the room to learn how to use all 8 paint mediums. We are making shapes, lines and mixing colors inspired by artist Wassily Kandinsky.

2nd grade is working on paint control while making thin and thick lines for their blue and white Chinese style vases.
