PM Kishida doesn’t say whether Nippon Steel’s acquisition of US Steel came up in his meeting with President Biden, but touts Japanese investments.

Biden says simply, “I stand by my commitment to American workers,” but adds re: Japan, “I stand by my commitment to our alliance.”
