I love London for lots of reasons. But today, I love it because Count Binface, whose policies include “Thames Water bosses to be made to take a dip in the Thames, to see how they like it” & “Claudia Winkleman's fringe to be Grade I listed” has beaten the Britain First candidate👏

I’m a civil, not a criminal lawyer, so not au fait with the relevant codes of practice and disclosure requirements. But the evidence given by in house and external lawyers for the Post Office in the inquiry over the last few days has been mind bogglingly awful by any standard.

That people earmarked to be trafficked to are given a govt produced holiday style brochure, reminds me of one of these produced for people deported to Jamaica, which advised they should try to speak with a Jamaican accent to avoid standing out.

Hi Jet2tweets! Not sure if you know this, but you CAN actually use your position as AirTanker’s customer to influence them to do the right thing! (You know, by choosing NOT to be involved with a company that could be complicit in a cash-for-humans scheme)

Hope this helps🙂👍

The idea “every aspect of the support for disabled people” must “help people get into work” is deeply grim from Labour. Benefits and the NHS don’t exist to turn disabled people into economic productively units. They are to help us live well. inews.co.uk/news/politics/…

🚨 Urgent donations needed for Rwanda Project interpreter fees.

We're assisting detained individuals who are panicked, terrified & confused. Interpretation is costly but crucial for clarity on rights & legal steps.

If you are able, donate now: donate.biggive.org/campaign/a0569…

In what moral universe can this be the right thing to do: the lower the life expectancy of a local area in 2010-12, the greater the cuts to government funding in the subsequent years. Was this a deliberate policy to increase health inequalities?

Utterly repulsive. A promotional video showing the arrest and detention of terrified and innocent people ahead of the planned removal to Rwanda. Shame on this government, and shame on every single individual involved in making and promoting this video. You disgust me

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone supporting me and trying to make me feel better. It's actually making me cry.
Thank you to all you lovely people, you will never know how much you are helping me pick myself back up.

Our communities are stronger then the desperate hate being churned out against asylum seekers by this government!

No to locking people up on the prison barge, no to dragging people off to detention and most of all we need an end to the cruel threat of Rwanda deportations.

Quick update, my office is now in touch with Abdullah who is detained in Middlesex. I understand I've had hundreds of nasty tweets mostly aimed at vulnerable people rather than myself. For info, I don't read them. For info, I have a sister who does. Don't mess with her. I don't.

Last year, 25,910 households were put at risk of after receiving a section 21 no-fault eviction.

Change is desperately needed but - thanks to self-interested landlord MPs – the is now watered down and full of loopholes. We won’t accept it.

Inhumane, wrong, illegal & incredibly expensive.
Everything about the Government's Rwanda policy is wrong, wrong, wrong.
& it has absorbed so much political focus & energy - imagine what could be achieved if that was instead directed to positive goals

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) has been in the news so I thought I’d put together a short guide.

PIP is such an important benefit - a real financial lifeline - for adults aged 16 or over with disabilities and health issues, which affects daily living and / or mobility…

Lots of talk about immigration putting pressure on housing this week. It's not straightforward. Evidence shows that rather than consuming MORE housing, migrants often live in overcrowded homes with poor conditions. Labour shortages since Brexit have also impacted housebuilding.
