PGA Championship thoughts:

- Impressively closed out by Xander to disprove the narrative
- Not a Bryson guy, but he’s a good watch in majors
- Hovland is absolutely back
- Valhalla lacking jeopardy for a major imo
- Only Scottie could be in jail on Friday & still finish top-10

May have come up shy today, but seriously Viktor, if you ever contemplate not playing a major again.

I know this may not be the time, but Harry Higgs aka Big Beautiful is heading to a playoff on the Korn Ferry Tour. He’s been pretty open about his struggles over the last year or so and it’d be great to see him win and presumably lock up a return to the PGA Tour in the process.

Viktor is absolutely in the zone. Love to see it.

Gotta say, between the Masters and today, it’s becoming hard to feel any confidence in Morikawa’s putting when the heat is on.

Amazing how quickly Viktor’s game has turned around after getting back with Joe Mayo. To go from contemplating not playing because he was so unhappy with the state of his game to being firmly in contention to win is nuts.
