Sad Penguin is a very overwhelmed Penguin right now. He feels pulled in too many directions and without any time off for penguin time for who knows how long. It’s a lot. And he was already a very tired penguin.

Sad Penguin is a really overwhelmed penguin. He needs to be in too many places and has too much to do. He’s aware he’s not a great penguin friend lately but he’s just trying to keep going right now. For now he’s hiding in a plant.

Sad Penguin is sick of feeling like he’s disposable. Like people’s last thought. He knows he should just go where he’s wanted and forget those people. But it still hurts.

Sad Penguin is utterly at breaking point with feeling like other penguins really don’t want to be around him. It seems like everyone finds sad penguins annoying and don’t want to talk to them. He knows the right penguins do but it still hurts every time.

It has indeed been a day.

Sad Penguin is completely overwhelmed and just wants to stop and hide away. He’s exhausted but everything is still coming at him and feels like everything is going wrong too.

Sad Penguin hopes you’re all having a peaceful Christmas. He doesn’t often feel like he does Christmas “right” feels like hanging upside down in a Christmas tree. But he does it his way. You do it yours.

Sad Penguin and his little family hope you all had a nice Christmas Day however you celebrate (or don’t) he’s got a weird, mixed up Penguin family who do things their own way. You can too.

Sad Penguin is feeling very meh. He’s in that lonely “everyone is busy with lives and family” stage of Christmas where he feels all alone. He’s also anxious about the coming new year and all the expectations even though it’s nonsense. So he’s just lying here for a bit.

Sad Penguin is feeling more “sad Penguin new year” in fact he’s already had a cry about it. Everything feels very uncertain and stressful and just…sad. So he’s going to sit here with a blanket for a bit.

Sad Penguin is feeling very January. Everything is a bit much, a bit overwhelming, a bit confusing. Everyone expects penguins to hit the ice running in January. Maybe they should stay in bed instead.

Sad Penguin is a ball of anxiety all the time at the moment. Even doing simple things or fun things feel hard. Some of it is logical, some of it is not. But it’s hard to be a penguin right now.

Sad Penguin has had a bit of a week. People behave badly and penguins don’t understand why. Life is stressful. Life is uncertain. Penguin bodies are still a mess. But penguins keep going. Even when they’re falling apart.

Sad Penguin is an angry penguin tonight. He’s fed up of being under valued, and disrespected. Or being spoken to like he’s a stupid penguin. But stuff like that makes him sad too. He cried a bit today. But also he’s a better penguin that people give him credit for.

Sad Penguin is having a tough penguin time right now. He’s been a sick penguin for weeks and his flippers are tired. He’s also fighting off a lot of rejection right now that makes his penguin work feel not good enough. One flipper at a time

Sad Penguin is feeling a bit lost right now. Things are chaotic and he just wants to lie on the floor. But also he feels a bit sad and alone too, even though things are busy. Penguins get lonely sometimes. But you’ve got to keep your flippers flipping.

Sad Penguin just had a big Sunday night cry. Everything has caught up with him and he’s overwhelmed, a ball of anxiety and just pretty sad right now. And sometimes that makes a penguin cry.
