That's Kiltwalk in the bag. What a beautiful day. Every step, every breath, and every blister was worth it. With the custom-made Scottish Refugee Council 🧡 tie and a shirt, I easily gained the title of the best dressed! 🤣.

We will have to 'Kenmure it' but solidarity with those now living with this fear.

We need a system that could treat people with dignity and respect. Not re-traumatising them repeatedly.

The reason people risk their lives is because there are no safe, legal, or straightforward routes for people to seek protection or be reunited with their loved ones. For some of us, it is a separation of lifetime from our families left behind.

Delighted with our registered tartan. With divisive politics constantly in the news, this show of friendship is a reminder that refugees are welcome here. The vibrant colours in the design represent diverse communities and cultures that enrich Scotland.

Our colleagues Refugee Council 🧡 warn of a system meltdown and call for the Illegal Migration Act to be repealed immediately. The billions wasted on these unworkable and inhumane approaches could be channelled into creating a fair, effective, and efficient asylum system.
