And so it begins... I think. Shower is prepped, lines are drawn, I think I know how to cut my tiles. Some lunch and then we get at it.

On a side note, I can't believe I've never owned a self-leveling laser. Magical.

Alright, day 2 about to begin. Lots of mortar to clean out from the first rows, hopefully I can do better on this next course. 😬

Four more rows. Should be able to get around the niches and then another three rows before I'll put an accent band.

Alright. Calling it for the day. It's not a professional job, but much faster today. One more go and I'll have this wall nearly finished. (Still have to figure out cuts for the niche back)

Another Saturday, another few hours of (anticipated) progress.

Going to precut the tiles so that I can finish the back wall. Hopefully this all translates into success. 😬
