Yesterday was the biggest day of industrial action in Amazon’s 3 decade history, with strike action and protests talking place in over 30 countries.

We were at the UK’s biggest strike to show our solidarity. Over 1000 workers walked out.

An injury to one is an injury to all🤝

15,000 people in Gaza have been murdered by the Israeli government, with weapons made and maintained on British soil.

That’s why we have come together to stand with the people of Gaza and Palestine, community to community, to shut down 3 of these arms companies today.

We are proud to be supported in this action by Workers in Palestine, a collective of 18 Palestinian trade unions who have issued an urgent global call to action, calling on workers everywhere to halt the sale and funding of arms to Israel.

This is what real solidarity looks like. Thank you ACORN the union for this #StopArmingIsrael action.

✊ Today, ACORN is blocking arms factories in Bristol, Birmingham, and Leeds that sell weapons and parts that keep the Israeli war machine running.

BAE, Leonardo, Meggit. Arms companies based on British soil, complicit in the destruction of Gaza. All shut down by people power.

Today is my last day working at Royal Mail. I can’t explain what a phenomenal, life changing few years it’s been.

Today The Postal Museum uploaded their historical records to Ancestry UK and I have learnt that my great great uncle Elijah Copley was a postman in Batley in 1936!

That branch of the family died before my mum was born so we never knew we already had a postie in the family 🥰 ✉️
