Unmarked patrol out this BH Monday saw this vehicle approaching from behind at speed. Driver was driving at 105mph on A1M by South Mimms. Driver already has 6 points for speeding... Reported, educated and disqualification likely. 410550 406623

This moped was displaying a front L plate but not on the rear.
A chat to the rider revealed they hadn't undertaken a CBT test!
As they were riding otherwise than in accordance with a licence the rider was reported and vehicle seized. 410294 412989

These vehicles were seen on the A1(M) and both found to be overweight:
1st (Sprinter) - 750kgs over - TOR issued & prohibited until offloaded.
2nd (Recovery truck) - 600kgs over - TOR issued & prohibited until offloaded.

RP13 - A1(M) Hatfield
The first was seen drawing a trailer in the outside lane of motorway, and having a considerably large crack to the windscreen. TOR issued.

Vehicle seen swerving away from a verge near Redbourn, Herts. We then discovered it was of interest to Operation Tutelage. Driver was a provisional licence holder and not being supervised and uninsured also. Vehicle seized, driver reported. 410550 406623

RP21 - M25 St Alban's. This HGV driver was seen by one of our patrols to be using his handheld mobile phone whilst driving. Driver was stopped and issued with a traffic offence report and will likely be given points & a fine, or summoned to Court. 412599 410580

This Vauxhall Corsa was displaying a reg the same as another car over 90 miles away. Checks revealed it’s SORN, No Mot or insurance and driver holds a provisional🤦🏽‍♂️ It also failed to stop for response the day prior. Seized & driver reported.

RPU SC South - Hatfield- This grey Mercedes came to the attention of Operation Tutelage due to no insurance. Not only was the vehicle seized but the driver was also twice the drink drive limit. One in custody and one car to the pound

Team B South - Hemel Hempstead. Vehicle stolen by means of burglary this morning and had been driving around town all day. It was sighted by BCH Police Dogs and has failed to stop where it has gone off-road and crashed into a tree.
2 males decamped but promptly arrested.

RP22 - Gunnels Wood Road, Stevenage.

Team D South- Vehicle seen with child sitting in lap. Driver gave someone else's details to officers who saw through his lies. They ascertained his identity and discovered he lied because he failed to appear at court for driving whilst disqualified. One arrested, vehicle seized.
