Anyway if I am budgeting for marketing spend for tech events in 2024 and 2025 I am definitely moving some of the money to Europe. Attendance is up, attendees are engaged, Europe is a vibe. Major European cities are open for business, and doing their best to be welcoming/inclusive

So the Europification of the tech event space continues. #qconlondon is bigger than qcon sf. I heard that 70% of attendees are from other European countries and InfoQ plans to invest accordingly.

The same pattern at #kubecon , where post lockdown European events are bigger.
