One of my favourite animated shorts is A Ballad About Green Wood/ Balada o zeleném dřevu (1983) by Czech filmmaker Jiří Barta, about the turning of the year and the tug of war between Winter & Spring #GothicSpring #ofdarkandmacabre #FaustianFriday youtube.com/watch?v=0fIvxf…

The Mycenaeans consumed barley bread, which they baked in ovens or fired surfaces using special clay vessels, which had various small cavities (holes), ensuring that the oil would be evenly distributed over the vessel and the bread would not burn during baking.

André D'onkey is hotly tipped as the next Labour candidate for "insert name of safe Welsh seat". D'onkey once holidayed in Prestatyn, and is a close friend of Sir Kier Starmer having lived in his parents garden for several years. Currently head of the centre for stuff, a think

Lovely unscripted moment this morning in the Welsh Parliament as a brilliant young choir from Ysgol Treganna in Cardiff - singing Safwn yn y Bwlch in rehearsal - bump into the Prime Minister (watch their reaction at the end 🎶)

Nye Bevan, founder of our NHS was born today, 127 years ago. A LOT has changed since 1948, but we're still here fighting for a fully public and properly funded NHS, and we always will be. Are you with us? RT if you are 💙

Book banning enrages me, what horrifies me here is the amount banned because of homosexuality 😡 those of us who support the T knew the movement against them was a gateway to target the LGB. 😓

And until Plaid Cymru realise 2026 isn't going to be handed to them on a platter, then we're in deep trouble. If Reform get in at 2026, they will destroy all the progress Wales has made in regards to the Welsh language and the establishing of our own government and democracy.
