It's always special when the US and Canadian cousins can get together! They always pick up right where they left off!

I was able to preach at my son Mike's church on Father's day and got to watch my two son's playing on the worship team!

Something's afoul!

Perhaps the most demanding, challenging, stretching, and yet supremely rewarding undertaking I've ever had is to embrace the role of father. So grateful for the amazing kids God gave me! What a joy and privilege to be their dad!

'Honor your father and your mother so that you may have a long life in the land that the Lord your God is giving you' (Ex. 20:12).

Today is my first Father's Day without my father. I miss him! His wisdom, humor, love for God and joy in life. Grateful to have so many special memories I can enjoy today.

Fathers have the enormous power to speak a blessing to their children. Use it well, and often!

Seek to abide so closely with Christ that everyone around you is blessed by your walk with God!

Be grateful that God does not treat you with the same patience you treat others!
