There’s a bestselling book in Taiwan called “If China Attacks” which is basically a guide for civilians to resist invasion and occupation.

China doesn’t want people buying it. They are finding out who bought it online and threatening them.

When the real world changes, I change my syllabus. So in class tomorrow, we'll be discussing whether Jamie Dimon is correct that Satoshi could return and unilaterally increase bitcoin's monetary supply.

Teaching “A Cypherpunk’s Manifesto” tomorrow. It has aged better than most 31 year olds I know — and I continue to find inspiration and insight in its three pages.

I admire the tiny cadre of anonymous(-ish) Chinese programmers who became so angry with the Great Firewall BS that they just built a whole new ecosystem of apps and protocols to protect against traffic manipulation.

Soon enough, we are all going to need that energy.
