'To declare by fiat that a peaceful outdoor protest poses 'a clear and present danger to the substantial functioning of the University' is a radical redefinition of 'danger' reminiscent of the Red Scare or antiterrorism laws' writes Robin D.G. Kelley bostonreview.net/articles/lette…

You can toggle over any dot on our map to find the campus name, number of arrests, prosecuting agency, prosecutor's response, and prosecutor's election year.

Prosecutors hold enormous power: they can brand these protesters with a criminal record for life—or let them go.

Once I also spoke to this reporter “at length and with nuance,” telling him things that didn’t serve his precooked narrative, and instead of quoting me he dug up an old tweet in an attempt to bolster an argument my actual words would’ve weakened. Cool pattern of behavior.

'I am wary of a hysterical campus discourse...that draws attention away from the ongoing slaughter in the Gaza Strip and settler violence in the occupied West Bank. We should be focusing on the material reality of war.' Important piece from jon ben-menachem. zeteo.com/p/i-am-a-jewis…
