On a train journey and the carriage is full of young lads who’ve all been talking about football constantly for the past hour. Apart from one guy who excitedly talked about Deadly 60 with Steve Backshall for a bit.

I can understand why it can be an effective way to get some people to pay attention, but I’m not a big fan of the ‘middle class journalist does a really hard job for one day’ approach to highlighting struggle. I’d rather hear real people tell their own stories.
