Same. After inflation caused by corporate gouging & lnp gifting of condition less vast quantities of taxpayer 💰followed by massive inflation & high interest rates, we’re being responsible with spending so interest rates for ordinary families & struggling business can come down

I remember back in the 70s it seemed to be very common To order 3 courses.

Do you still order a starter, main course, and dessert when you go out to eat these days?

And none of these victims had huge funerals with powerful people calling them saints and martyrs. They just had to get on with their lives, until, eventually, they couldn’t.

The panelists they have on #insiders (and I include the present host in that too) are paid to pontificate on matters they often only have a mere glancing familiarity with.

And I'm being generous with my adjectives too.

Once upon a time Uni was viewed as a great nation-builder and leveller of class: a reliable path to overcoming social disadvantage, an investment worth making widely.

Nowadays, sadly, it’s perceived by some as a revenue stream for government.
