Let me too weigh in on the scaremongering tactics being deployed by the BJP and it’s Sanghi fanboys and fangirls. The proportion of Hindus in the population dropped some 7+ percentage points we are told. That’s since the 1950s; ie taking the first Census as the baseline.

There are philosophical & economic justifications for the existence of the #InheritanceTax . To begin with, unlimited inheritance across generations leads to the persistence of wealth #inequality & accumulation of extreme “unearned” wealth. | R. Ramakumar
